VP of Technical Services, APAC, Japan, & Greater China Cisco
Based in Singapore, Sae is responsible for managing and delivering Cisco customers a world-class experience through technical assistance, spare part logistics and online support in the Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China theatres, in collaboration with our partners. Sae’s responsibility extends to the creation and acceleration of the Technical Service portfolio of service offers in APJ&GC. Leveraging software, automation and process innovation, the Technical Services team in APJ&GC are seen as global leaders for simultaneously improving operational excellence, upskilling technical engineers and growing customer satisfaction. As part of this organization, Sae leads a regional team focusing on growing next-gen customer service capabilities which raise the bar for response, resolution and long-term network stability and confidence for Cisco customers.
Under his leadership, the Technical Services teams have been recognized with various industry awards from such organizations as JD Power & Associates, SCM Logistics, CII Institute of Logistics (SCALE Awards) and more, for achievements ranging from customer service excellence, driving business growth and innovative delivery. Sae is passionate about operational excellence, talent development, profitable growth & customer focus.
In his 20 year tenure within Cisco, Sae has held many senior roles, recently leading Asia Pacific business development and delivery, where his team made significant transformations to improve customer and partner experience, increase employee satisfaction and collaborate closely with sales teams to support the growth of Cisco’s services’ business in ANZ, ASEAN, Korea and India. Prior to this, Sae led the Japan Technical Services theatre, becoming an integral part of the global Cisco customer experience and collaborating closely in many initiatives such as the Japan Product Quality Team. Sae also contributed to the restoration efforts after the Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami by leading the Cisco Japan Customer Crisis Team.
Since joining Cisco in 1996, Sae has been in various regional and country leadership roles with multiple Technical Services functions, including Korea Technical Assistance Centre, Japan Technical Services and APJ&GC Focused Technical Support Services.
